GED/ABE Prep Classes
GED prep courses are offered for students who do not have a high school diploma but wish to take the exams to gain their GED, a high school degree equivalency. Classes are instructed by caring and knowledgeable teachers on Tuesday and Thursday each week from 6 pm to 8 pm during the school year at our location in Philadelphia. Participants are required to take a pre-test to determine the courses you will need to study. Books available for $15 and the class is free of charge.

The ELL (English Language Learning) classes are free and are for those who want to improve their English speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. Participants will learn English for work, home and the community, along with US culture and citizenship skills. All levels are welcome and classes are taught by a dedicated and knowledgeable instructor. ELL classes begin in September and October and are held on Tuesday and Thursdays from 5:30 pm to 8 pm at our location in Philadelphia. Books available for $30 and the class is free of charge.
An alternate class is held Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings, 9-11am, at Carnell Elementary School, Family Resource Center, Room B-2, 1100 Devereaux Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19111. Contact: 215-400-3150, option 6.
